The caramelized honey, fresh ground pepper along with the salty taste of the feta gives you a piquant flavor. You can serve with grilled pita wedges or on crackers. Some people like to add walnuts, pine seeds, pickled vegetables, tomatoes and dry fruits such as fig. Go ahead and try this recipe, add some fun to your taste buds and make it an awe – inspiring moment. You could make this recipe with any type of Greek Feta but we suggest you use Feta or Halkidiki Feta, they’re a bit more tangy.

Cut your feta into slabs , blot dry each slab and place it in your oven proof dish.

Brush the bottom of the pan with olive oil, place your feta cheese, and add your olive oil bake until your cheese has softened. This shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes. When ready brush with Cretan Thyme Honey. If you would like sprinkle with thyme or add the thyme when the feta is ready. Place the feta back in the oven for another 10 minutes or until golden brown.
